Do you accept card payment?

Yes, we accept Pay Pal.

 

Arrival & Departure

 

What time can I check in?

All properties are available from 3pm on day of arrival, and must be vacated by no later than 10am on your day of departure. Reception is not continuously manned, so please let us know when to expect you so we are here to welcome you. Please do not arrive early, unless previously arranged, as time is needed to thoroughly clean the property between lets. We also ask that you leave the property by 10 am on departure day for the same reason. You are advised to check your travel insurance to cover cancellation.

 

Welcome Pack

 

Do you supply a welcome pack?

Yes, all properties will have tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk. We also provide basic cleaning products (washing up liquid, kitchen and bathroom cleaner and cloths) and toilet roll to start your stay. Groceries can be pre-ordered for your arrival - please arrange when booking.

 

Electricity and Heating

 

Is electricity included?

Yes, electricity and heating are included in the rental cost. At Skesquoy, where there is a multi-fuel stove. We provide a starter pack of fuel. Alternatively and additionally, fuel may be purchased locally.

 

Linen and Towels

 

Do you supply linen?

Yes, beds at all properties are made up with bed linen included in the price. Additionally, one bath towel and one hand towel per person are provided. Tea towels are provided in all properties. There is a washing machine/dryer in each property with line space outside. We also provide a small supply of washing powder to get you started.

 

Cot / High Chair

 

If requested when booking, a cot and/or high chair can be provided in all properties. Cots are supplied including linen.

 

Pets

 

Do you allow pets?

No, I'm afraid not, we have a strict no pets policy in all our properties.

 

Smoking

 

Is smoking permitted?

Please note that all properties are NON-SMOKING within the building(s).

 

Disabled Access

 

Do you have a disabled access property?

Yes, Firth Bay Bungalow No 5 has a disabled access wet room. Please inform us when booking if you require this property.

 

Facilities

 

Kitchens have appliances as stated in individual property information, plus ample tableware and cooking utensils. They all have: toaster, electric kettle, iron/ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

 

Living area/rooms have comfortable seating, dining table and chairs for the stated number as well as a good standard of general furnishing.

 

All properties have a colour TV with freeview, DVD player, CD player and hair dryer.

 

WI-FI is available and included in your rental cost.

 

Bedrooms have standard sized beds, unless otherwise stated, plus storage and hanging space, as well as a good standard of general furnishing.

 

All of our properties have some form of central heating, and Skesquoy Cottage has a coal/wood burning fire.

 

Other Useful information

 

Are the properties serviced?

No, all our properties are self-catering accommodation. Bedding/towels are changed at the end of your stay or at the end of the first week if staying for longer. The Firth Bay Bungalows can be serviced/towels replaced for a small fee. All our cottages are cleaned thoroughly between holidays. We would ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy.

 

Bookings

 

Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday but there may be flexibility at quieter times. We cannot accept a change of holiday property once we have received your booking form and payment. We may be able to change your holiday week providing you advise us not less than 6 weeks prior to your original holiday start date. This is not always possible, although if we are able to rearrange this for you, a charge of £35 will be made to cover administration costs.
